Developing elderly care finance is to better meet the diverse needs of the people for elderly care and bring them a greater sense of gain, happiness, and security.
In recent years, Postal Savings Bank of China Shanghai Pudong New Area Branch has actively expanded its cross-sector service model of "finance + health," establishing "Health Care" themed branches in its business departments to provide convenient financial and health care services to surrounding customers. Relying on the "Postal Love Station" and "Health Station" established within the branches, it provides comprehensive services to the surrounding community, offering warm companionship and transforming the community from "only coming when there's a problem" to "coming to gather whenever they want," thus enriching the spiritual and cultural life of nearby residents.
The service station is equipped with facilities such as a desktop video consultation, a smart skin analyzer, a traditional Chinese medicine infrared thermal imager, a retinal health risk assessment device, a blood pressure monitor, an arteriosclerosis detector, medical journals, and newspapers. The branch regularly hosts a series of activities including health salons, health lectures, and financial literacy presentations.
At the beginning of this year, the bank launched the "Healthy Me" community outreach program. It collaborated with surrounding communities on multiple occasions, inviting residents to actively participate. This initiative extended the reach of health stations beyond the bank branches, providing services such as blood pressure measurement, macular degeneration testing, and blood sugar testing. These services were interspersed with information on finance, anti-fraud, and anti-counterfeiting, as well as introductions to the bank's financial products. The program effectively promoted financial literacy while safeguarding residents' health, and this innovative approach was well-received by citizens.
The health salon event held by the bank in the middle of this year, titled "Enjoying Coolness and Maintaining Well-being," was very popular with the public. During the event, at the traditional Chinese medicine consultation area, people carefully described their physical conditions and recorded treatment suggestions; in the instrument experience area, people orderly tried out various diagnostic instruments and exchanged health tips. The entire station was lively yet orderly, with everyone showing concern for health and gaining practical knowledge through interaction.
At the end of this year, to deepen the "Caring for Health, Postal Savings Bank of China Pudong Branch" themed branch construction and foster a healthy and positive social atmosphere, the branch, in conjunction with enterprises, held the "Enterprise Alliance Cup" Badminton Team Championship. Participating units included government agencies, Party schools, and various large enterprises and institutions in Pudong New Area. The aim was to use badminton as a medium to not only promote a healthy lifestyle but also to practice the value of "customer-centricity and creating value for customers," building a solid bridge for in-depth communication between banks and enterprises.
