From December 2nd to 5th, Wang Chunying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Export-Import Bank of China, conducted research in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. During her visit, she held talks with key leaders of the Xinjiang Autonomous Region Government, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the Kashgar Prefectural Party Committee, and the Kashgar Municipal Party Committee; she delivered lectures on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee at the Xinjiang Branch and the Kashgar Branch, and held discussions with cadres and employees; she visited key enterprises to deepen bank-enterprise cooperation; and she conducted door-to-door visits in villages she was assisting, extending her regards to the village-based work teams.
During her visit to the Xinjiang branch, President Wang Chunying listened to a report on the branch's Party building and business development, affirmed the branch's achievements, and put forward the following requirements for the next stage of work, focusing on studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee: First, uphold Party building leadership and cultivate a clean and upright political environment. It is essential to deeply study and understand the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, consistently uphold and strengthen the Party's overall leadership throughout the entire process and all aspects of policy-based financial work, resolutely implement the deployment requirements of comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and the bank, and lead the branch's high-quality development with high-quality Party building. Second, fulfill responsibilities and missions, and write a new chapter in policy-based finance's support for Xinjiang's "five strategic positioning" development. It is crucial to deeply understand the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the autonomous region, base the branch on its policy-based functional positioning, actively serve Xinjiang's export-oriented economic development, support the cultivation of new productive forces, and assist enterprises in "going global." Third, strengthen self-construction and promote business management to a new level. The branch should accurately position itself and take proactive action in the bank's deepening reforms, comprehensively promote the rectification of inspections, audits, and supervision, focus on basic work, strengthen refined management, and improve the efficiency of business development.
President Wang Chunying visited Xinjiang TBEA Group Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Zhongtai (Group) Co., Ltd., and Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., and had in-depth exchanges with company leaders on deepening bank-enterprise cooperation and promoting common development. President Wang Chunying stated that the Export-Import Bank of China's core business aligns closely with the international development needs of Xinjiang enterprises. The bank will focus on the construction of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt, leverage its policy-based financial advantages, strengthen the linkage between its head office and branches, and provide high-quality "financing + intellectual support" services to support the innovative development of Xinjiang enterprises, their expansion into international markets, and the cultivation of new competitive advantages. Company leaders expressed their gratitude for the Export-Import Bank of China's long-term support and hoped that the bank would provide more assistance in project financing, risk control, and country information, further strengthening and deepening the good cooperative relationship between the two sides.
Bank President Wang Chunying and her delegation visited Yuelai Village, Pahataikeli Township, Kashgar City, to conduct door-to-door visits and extend their regards to the village-based work team members. She emphasized the need to firmly establish the concept of "people-centeredness," make good use of the Party's "family heirloom" of the mass line, keep the people in mind, immerse themselves in the people's lives, and connect with them emotionally. She stressed the importance of going all out to help villagers solve their problems, making every effort to increase their income, continuously consolidating and expanding the achievements in poverty alleviation, and accelerating the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.
