To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, the Party Branch of the Finance and Accounting Department of the Export-Import Bank of China held a themed Party Day activity in Beijing on December 29th, entitled "Studying, Reflecting on, and Practicing the Spirit of the Plenary Session, Striving to Be Pioneers of Reform." Chen Huaiyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of China, participated in the activity, explained the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, listened to a report on the branch's Party building work, and exchanged experiences with branch members. Yang Dongning, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China, and relevant responsible comrades from the Party Committee (Discipline Inspection Commission) of the bank also participated in the activity.
During the event, eight Party member representatives focused on the theme of the event, closely combined it with their work practice, and shared their understanding, experiences, sense of mission, and ideas and measures on enhancing financial sustainability, strengthening financial and accounting supervision, and promoting the growth and development of young cadres.
Comrade Chen Huaiyu pointed out that thoroughly studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee is the primary political task for the present and future. We must follow the arrangements and requirements of the Party Central Committee, and combine this with the realities of policy-based finance in the new era and the bank's overall reform and development, to ensure the spirit of the plenary session is implemented effectively. First, we must raise our political awareness, combining the study and implementation of the plenary session's spirit with the implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, learning them as a whole and integrating them into our understanding, firmly upholding the "two establishments" and resolutely achieving the "two safeguards." Second, we must continuously deepen reform, consciously integrating our work into the overall cause of the Party and the country, and into the overall reform and development of the bank, further enhancing our initiative in innovation, deepening the integration of business and finance, and leveraging the effectiveness of financial control to provide support and guarantees for business development. Third, we must optimize our work style, relentlessly implementing the spirit of the Central Committee's Eight-Point Regulation, establishing and practicing a correct view of performance and achievements, with a constant sense of responsibility, diligently honing our skills and leveraging our expertise, and using an excellent work style to unite our efforts and drive our work.
The participating Party members unanimously expressed that they will study, publicize, and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, unite their minds and forge ahead, and contribute to the high-quality development of policy-based finance.
