On December 26, Chen Huaiyu, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of China, and Ren Hongbin, Party Secretary and Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), held talks in Beijing and jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement. Wang Kang, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China, and Nie Wenhui, member of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the CCPIT, also attended the talks.

Chairman Chen Huaiyu stated that the Export-Import Bank of China and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) share highly compatible functional positioning and shoulder the important responsibility of promoting high-quality trade development. The two sides have a solid foundation for cooperation and enormous potential. The Export-Import Bank of China will thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the Central Economic Work Conference, fully leverage its unique advantages as a policy-oriented financial institution, and conduct deeper and higher-level mutually beneficial cooperation with the CCPIT to jointly support enterprises in "going global," create a favorable environment for enterprises to expand overseas, and contribute to the construction of a strong trading nation.
Chairman Ren Hongbin introduced the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade's (CCPIT) reform and development in recent years. He stated that the CCPIT and the Export-Import Bank of China are important partners, and he looks forward to both sides taking this strategic agreement signing as an opportunity to further strengthen work coordination, deepen all-round cooperation, enhance services for enterprises, and make greater contributions to promoting high-quality development and high-level opening-up.
Officials from relevant departments of the Export-Import Bank of China, as well as officials from relevant departments and affiliated units of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, participated in the talks.
