On December 15, the Agricultural Development Bank of China (ADBC) Party Committee held an enlarged meeting to convey and study the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and, in accordance with the requirements of the National Financial System Work Conference, to study and implement measures. Zhan Dongsheng, Secretary of the ADBC Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting emphasized the following: First, focus on core business to promote high-quality development. It stressed the need to deeply understand the overall requirements, policy orientation, and key tasks of the "eight principles" for next year's economic work, adhere to functional positioning, identify key areas of focus, and continuously increase financial service support. This includes helping to safeguard the "two bottom lines," fully supporting the supply and price stability of important agricultural products such as grain, and continuously supporting the consolidation and expansion of poverty alleviation achievements. It also emphasized fully serving agricultural modernization and urban-rural integration, providing coordinated support for urbanization with county towns as important carriers and the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas, and promoting high-quality development of the county economy. Furthermore, it stressed the need to vigorously promote green transformation, focusing on key potential areas such as new energy, ecological protection, and forestry and grassland, and increasing support. Second, continuously strengthen compliance and risk awareness. This requires establishing and practicing correct views on performance and achievements, firmly establishing the concept of compliant and stable development, resolutely avoiding touching the "three red lines," and effectively preventing and resolving risks in key areas. It also requires deeply promoting the three-year action plan for standardized and refined management, building a solid security defense line through its own safety and stability. Third, strengthen the Party's overall leadership over financial work. We must earnestly study, deeply understand, and thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives, as well as the decisions and plans of the Party Central Committee, and persistently advance the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party and the administration, so as to promote high-quality development through high-quality Party building.
