Evidence before conclusions
MayBiz Journal aims to make factual claims traceable to relevant evidence. We favor original company releases, public filings, official statistics and regulatory publications when they address the claim directly. A source can describe its own product or position without independently proving every conclusion about it. We aim to preserve uncertainty when the available evidence does not support a definite answer, and to distinguish a source’s claim from an independently established fact.
Context and dates
News reports should distinguish the date of publication, the event date and the period measured. An economic statistic describes a particular period, not necessarily present conditions. Where a source does not provide a publication date, we do not invent one. Readers should check whether later information changes the picture.
Independence and limits
We separate editorial judgments from any future advertising or commercial relationships. Product articles are based on public documents, not undisclosed hands-on testing. We explain meaningful restrictions, fees, eligibility and regional differences where the evidence permits, and avoid presenting general education as personalized financial advice.
Review and correction
An article may be updated when its underlying material changes or an error is identified. Material corrections should explain what changed in a way readers can understand. Send a link, the disputed passage and reliable supporting evidence through our contact page; see our corrections process.
