Issuing the National Database List

The decision promulgates 20 types of national databases, including: National Comprehensive Database; National Population Database; Location Identification Database; Electronic Identity Database; National Immigration Database; National Administrative Violation Handling Database; National Artificial Intelligence Database; National Finance Database; National Business Registration Database; National Insurance Database; National Land Database; National Climate Change Database; National Cadre, Civil Servant, and Public Employee Database; National Social Security Database; National Archival Document Database of the Vietnamese State Archives; National Administrative Procedures Database; National Construction Activities Database; National Health Database; National Education and Training Database; National database on asset and income control.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Public Security to be responsible for organizing, guiding, inspecting, and supervising the implementation of this Decision; and to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to compile, review, and propose amendments and additions to the List of National Databases for submission to the Prime Minister for approval.

Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and People's Committees of provinces and cities are responsible for building national databases within their scope of management, ensuring compliance with the National Data Architecture Framework, the National Data Governance and Management Framework, and the Common Data Dictionary; coordinating with the Ministry of Public Security to propose additions, updates, and adjustments to the List of National Databases; and directing agencies and units to comply with legal regulations on data during the process of building national databases.

This decision takes effect from May 19, 2026.
