From the beginning of the year, Phu Dong commune has focused on seriously implementing the resolutions and directives of the Central Government and the city on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, especially the policy of reorganizing the administrative apparatus according to the two-tiered local government model.
The implementation process was conducted systematically and synchronously, ensuring continuous operation and preventing disruption to the work of citizens and businesses. Working regulations and procedures were reviewed, supplemented, and improved to clearly define responsibilities and authority, contributing to enhanced governance quality.

Agriculture continues to be a vital pillar of the local economy. In 2025, the commune focused on directing production according to the correct seasonal schedule, ensuring productivity and efficiency. The total cultivated area in the commune reached over 2,754 hectares, of which rice accounted for over 1,453 hectares and vegetables and other crops over 1,331 hectares. The crop structure has shifted positively. The locality has gradually converted less productive land to cultivate high-value crops such as fruit trees, flowers, and ornamental plants, contributing to increased income for the people.
Production management and organization have been strengthened. The entire commune currently has 49 approved production plans. These plans are regularly inspected, reviewed, and evaluated for effectiveness, with timely adjustments or corrective actions taken for any issues that do not comply with regulations and practical realities.
In the livestock sector, the commune has fully implemented disease prevention and control measures such as regular vaccinations, disinfection, and epidemiological surveillance. At the same time, it has intensified propaganda and mobilization efforts to gradually relocate livestock farming activities away from residential areas, aiming towards concentrated livestock development, ensuring biosafety and environmental hygiene.
Regularly held symposia contribute positively to the effective implementation of the plans and tasks set forth.
Land management and construction order have been identified as key and ongoing tasks. The commune has intensified inspections and reviews, promptly detecting and handling violations, especially the misuse of land and unauthorized or illegal construction.
For industrial clusters in the area, the commune government proactively coordinates with relevant agencies to inspect and assess the current state of operations, promptly identifying shortcomings and limitations. Based on this, they propose solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles, especially in planning, land use, and technical infrastructure. Strengthening management not only contributes to restoring order and discipline in land use but also creates a favorable and transparent environment for stable and sustainable production and business development.
The Phu Dong Industrial Park is envisioned as: A modern industrial park, a green, ecological, and high-tech industrial park, and a new development highlight at the eastern gateway of Hanoi.
The "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" environmental development movement continues to be widely implemented, attracting the participation of the entire political system and the people. A highlight is the beautification of the Duong Ha dike with over 10,000 trees and various flowers, at a total cost of approximately 1.2 billion VND. This project not only contributes to improving the environmental landscape but also creates a living space and enhances the quality of life for the people.
Environmental sanitation work is regularly maintained on weekends in villages and residential areas. People's awareness of environmental protection is gradually improving. During the year, the commune inspected and handled 13 cases of environmental violations, collecting approximately 450 million VND for the state budget, thereby strengthening deterrence and improving the effectiveness of state management in this field.
Cultural, artistic, and sports activities are organized enthusiastically, linked to political events and major national and local holidays, creating an atmosphere of excitement and unity among the people.
Information and communication work has been intensified through various diverse forms, contributing to raising public awareness in implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.
Social security policies have been fully and promptly implemented, targeting the right beneficiaries. Care for policy beneficiary families, war veterans, and social welfare recipients has been prioritized, contributing to the stability of people's lives.

Entering 2026, Phu Dong commune is determined to continue building on the achievements made, while focusing on the comprehensive implementation of tasks and solutions to promote socio-economic development in a sustainable and effective manner.
In the agricultural sector, the locality continues to maintain stable production areas, improve crop productivity and quality; and promote the transformation of crop and livestock structures towards high-value products. At the same time, it continues to review and refine production plans, and replicate effective models suitable to local conditions.
Land management, construction order, and site clearance have been effectively addressed, resolving all remaining violations. Simultaneously, the commune has proactively coordinated efforts to overcome difficulties and create favorable conditions to accelerate the implementation of projects and industrial clusters, thereby promoting production and business.
In the environmental field, the locality continues to maintain and improve the quality of "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" models, replicate model roads, strengthen inspection and handling of violations, and raise environmental protection awareness in the community.
