Nvidia , the world's largest electronics manufacturer Major Artificial Intelligence (AI) server manufacturer Foxconn It announced on Tuesday that it will deploy humanoid robots at its Houston factory. This factory manufactures artificial intelligence servers for Nvidia .

Foxconn and Nvidia have a long-term strategic partnership and have carried out in-depth cooperation in multiple fields such as AI server manufacturing, autonomous driving, and robotics .

"The factory will also be one of the first to deploy humanoid robots powered by NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T N model on its production line," Foxconn said in a statement on Tuesday. "Foxconn and NVIDIA are committed to building a world-leading benchmark AI smart factory."

Isaac GR00T N is an NVIDIA product designed for humanoid robots. The open-source foundational model aims to accelerate the development of humanoid robots.

Foxconn also stated that it will continue to expand its AI server production in Texas, Wisconsin, and California to meet growing demand.

Our team is bringing the most advanced AI data center to the United States. "This solution will help our major customers stay ahead in the artificial intelligence race," Foxconn Chairman Liu Yangwei said in a statement.

In June of this year, it was reported that Foxconn and Nvidia were in talks about using humanoid robots at their Houston factory, with the goal of putting them into use in the first quarter of 2026.

Then in August, news broke that Nvidia was accelerating its entry into the humanoid robot market, with its key partner Foxconn already preparing production lines, which would be unveiled as early as November at Hon Hai Technology Day.

On Tuesday, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated during the GTC conference that the world is facing a labor shortage, and robots will become the next major consumer electronics product. The opportunity lies in the fact that "human jobs will not be taken away by robots, but by people who know how to use artificial intelligence."
