In 2025, Hang Seng Bank (China) Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Hang Seng China") joined hands with the Guangzhou Zhikun Charity Foundation and the Beijing Watchers Environmental Protection Foundation to carry out the "Hang Seng Love" series of volunteer-themed activities in the locations of its branches across the country, encouraging employees to actively participate in social welfare volunteer services and give back to the community with practical actions. A total of 17 activities were carried out throughout the year, focusing on core public welfare issues such as community service, financial literacy education, and ecological protection, with more than 200 Hang Seng China employees and their families participating.
"Eternal Love and Companionship" Exploration Journey
From July to August, the "Hengsheng Children's Journey" exploration trip kicked off. Volunteers from Hang Seng China in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, and Xiamen led children with autism and health difficulties to local aquariums and science museums. Through companionship and interaction, they stimulated the children's curiosity, cultivated their awareness of proactive communication, and helped them better integrate into society.
"Eternal Love and Protection" Silver Age Fraud-Free Financial Education Promotion Week
In September, the "Heng's Love and Protection" Silver Age Fraud-Free Financial Education and Publicity Week volunteer activities were held in Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Hang Seng China volunteers went deep into local communities, using various methods such as knowledge dissemination, case analysis, fraud scenario simulations, and distribution of educational materials to educate elderly residents on financial consumer protection and anti-fraud public service campaigns, enabling them to better identify and cope with financial risks in their lives.
"Love Nature" Green Ecological Public Welfare Month
From October to November, the "Love Nature" Green Ecological Public Welfare Month was held in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Volunteers went to the suburbs of the cities to carry out environmental volunteer service activities on various themes, including river clean-up, wetland and migratory bird protection, and Leave No Trace forest protection, contributing to ecological protection with practical actions. Through the model of "environmental knowledge popularization and education + interactive game experience + volunteer service activities," not only were rivers and wetlands cleaned and protected, but volunteers also observed and recognized environmental problems around them, raising their awareness of environmental protection and cultivating responsible environmental behavior.
"Eternal Love and Care" Winter Warmth Workshop
In December, the "Eternal Love and Care" Winter Warmth Workshop was launched in seven cities: Kunming, Jinan, Dongguan, Nanjing, Chengdu, Ningbo, and Tianjin. The activities focused on providing emotional support for the elderly and empowering children's growth, visiting and comforting vulnerable groups such as elderly people living alone, children of newly employed individuals, and children in difficult circumstances. Volunteers visited social welfare institutions and community streets, providing emotional companionship and support to the elderly and children through various activities such as playing games, knitting scarves, and engaging in handicrafts. They also donated some daily necessities and school supplies, bringing warmth during the winter.
